06/26/06 HARD HAT AREA...

Good Girl Purl and I will be doing some switcheroos to the site, we hope it doesn't mess things up too much!! 06/13/200Sox  Summertime Sox!

Why do we knit sox in the summertime like our little frozen feet depended on it?  You would think that the joyous sock making would slow down 'cause it's so DANG HOT!  Nope, not us!  Here in Texas the office buildings and stores are kept colder than what it gets in the winter! 

On with the summer sox: Helene is cranking them out! Check out her KoolAid dyed sox. Ruth knit a pair of sox and a matching one for a cast!  Thanks for the great idea! Ruth also finished some that she calls her "new favorite socks"!  Gotta check that out.   Rebekkah has two more pair.  Both patterns are from Interweave Knits... love that magazine. Debi has some Teal sox from Knitting Vintage Socks by Nancy Bush... love that book.  Adelle has some Sherbet Jaywalkers.  Now that just SCREAMS summertime! AubN finished some pretty pink sox:

AuntyNin finished some sox for her Aunt out of STR... she must really like her Aunt!  Carole finished several pair... I think she liked the Jaywalker pattern!  Look at Angie's finished sox!

Melanie has finished 3 pair, 2 babies and a pair of Pink Lemon Twisty Sox!  Awesome to have your very own pattern!
